Sight #012 - Bernard “Bernie” Porter
This dark horse came into existence of March 5th 1980, went to Newcastle University and was responsible for the Leamington graffiti; “I Love Tennis” (opposite Clarendons), “Bernies do it all year round” (back door of Shades) and “bring back burger king you idots [sic]” (all over Ryman).

Bernie has long retired from the graffiti business, giving rise to the rumour that he is the real identity of Banks. His choice episode of Diagnosis Murder is “Living on the Streets Can Be Murder” (S3 E10)

Pro tip: download the track ‘Layla.wav’ from Kazaa, hit that play button and view this profile! - martin, sights of leam intern

Now that you’re ready to rock… meet Tom Jelley, born December 15th 1972, Tom has two tattoos that he loves to flash out. The first is a nod to a holiday taken in 2005 where, “the air was breezy and me and the girls hit the motorway to Bog Reg with no plan, no money and no narks”. The second is of former Grange Hill and EastEnders actor Todd Carty.

Tom’s favourite episode of Diagnosis Murder is “Physician, Murder Thyself” (S4 E22), when we told him Joey Worrall has already picked that one as his choice, Tom told us to “go suck a lemon”.
